PART 1 – SHORT VOWELS

Lesson 1 – Blending and segmenting –at words.
Lesson 2 – Blending and segmenting –a– words.
Lesson 3 – Blending and segmenting –a/o- words.
Lesson 4 – Blending and segmenting –a/o/i- words.
Lesson 5 – Blending and segmenting –a/o/i/u- words.
Lesson 6 – Blending and segmenting –a/o/i/u/e- words.
Lesson 7 – Reading and writing –a/o/i/u/e(CVC) words.

Also formally start readers (PM+ and sight words – school list) and continue throughout rest of vowel program.

Lesson 8 – Blending, segmenting, reading and writing CVC words (all single consonants).
Lesson 9 – Blending, segmenting, reading and writing CVC words including diagraphs – sh, ch, th).
Lesson 10 – Blending, segmenting, reading and writing 4 sound (CCVC and CVCC) words.
Lesson 11 – Blending, segmenting, reading and writing 5 sound (CCVCC and CCCVC) words.
Lesson 12 – Segmenting (replace blocks with arm tracking), reading and writing 3,4 and 5 sound words.
Lesson 13 – Reading and writing words with tr, dr, str, qu, x, nk and ng.
Lesson 14 – Applying short vowel rules when writing words with short vowels.
Lesson 15 – Reading and writing of short vowel words with grammatical endings s, es, ing, ed, er, est.
Lesson 16 – Short vowel sentence dictation.

PART 2 – LONG VOWELS (SHORT AND LONG VOWELS)

Lesson 1 – Arm track (segment), read and write words with long vowels – a-e, ai, ee, ea, i-e, igh, o-e, oa, u-e.
Lesson 2 – Arm track (segment), read and write words with short and long vowels.
Lesson 3 – Read and write words with long vowel and consonant endings – ay, y, ow, ew, ce, se, ge.
Lesson 4 – Arm track (segment), read and write words with all short and long vowels.
Lesson 5 – Arm track (segment), read and write nonsense words with all short and long vowels.
Lesson 6 – Reading and writing long vowel words with grammatical endings – s, es, ing, ed, er, est.
Lesson 7 – Reading and writing short and long vowel words with grammatical endings – s, es, ing, ed, er, est.
Lesson 8 – Short and Long vowel sentence dictation.

PART 3 – “O“ VOWELS (SHORT, LONG AND “O“ VOWELS)

Lesson 1 – Arm track (segment), read and write words with “O” vowels – oo, oo, ue, ew, oi, oy, ou, ow.
Lesson 2 – Arm track (segment), read and write words with short, long and “O” vowels.

PART 4 – “R“ VOWELS (SHORT, LONG, “O“ AND “R“ VOWELS)

Lesson 1 – Arm track (segment), read and write words with “R” vowels – ar, or, aw, au, ore, oar, oor, er, ur, ir.
Lesson 2 – Arm track (segment), read and write words with short, long, “O” and “R” vowels.
Lesson 3 – Arm track (segment), read and write nonsense words with all short, long, “O” and “R” vowels.
Lesson 4 – Short, Long “O” and “R” vowel sentence dictation.

PART 5 – ENDINGS (ALL VOWELS)

Lesson 1 – Arm track (segment), read and write words with “Endings” vowels – are, air, eer, ear, ire
Lesson 2 – Arm track (segment), read and write words with all vowels.
Lesson 3 – Arm track (segment), read and write nonsense words with all vowels.
Lesson 4 – Ending vowel sentence dictation.
Lesson 5 – Reading and writing all vowels in words with grammatical endings – s, es, ing, ed, er, est.
Lesson 6 – All vowel sentence dictation.
